What a silly question LOL!! Brazil of course.... But, we never know ;-)
Brazil just won Australia and is in the second round, got pretty close to a tie (Australia got a couple of chances at scoring and didn't) but then Brazil scored another goal, only 2 mins to the end of the game!!!
I know!! Fred made the substitution well worth while!! Now I have to get back to "real life" and get some studying done which is easier said than done in this heat... UGH!!!
I enjoyed the game - but even more after I switched to the spanish language station. The american commentators seemed bored and ran out of things to say early, settling down to complain that it wasn't the virgin birth and resurrection all at once, whereas the spanish speaking guys enjoyed every minute of the actual game that was occurring
I did the same Tom! I am used to watching the World Cup in Brazil and it's the first time for me in the US... I find that the commentators don't really know what to say, they don't talk about the passes and technique, etc. - things I am used to hearing on Brazilian TV. I can't understand everything the Spanish language station commentators say, but it is much better, no doubt!! They actually enjoy the game :-)
Whenever a goal was scored - I quickly switched to the Spanish channel for the "appropriate reaction" ;-) and though I did not understand it - it was quite clear that the commentators were sharing my excitment for the game.
Also the Korea-France was excellent today! Japan-Croatia was alright, Japan playing the better game I thought!
