Now, if you recall, I mentioned that I only have one superstition; I do not wear red on Tuesdays. This terrible tradition began 10 years ago when I an awful day. I had been wearng red, my favourite colour. If I think about it carefully, it was actually a Monday, and not a Tuesday. So why develop a mad "no red Tuesday supersition"? Beats me. So this week, because I am "fearless" ;-), I decided to be brave and wear a red summer dress on Tuesday and free myself of this travesty! Yes I did! I waited all day, in my red summer dress - and other than the few compliments I received, nothing happened. So I am finally free! Yes I am free!Al Qaeda and Madonna have something crucial in common. No, I don’t mean choice of odd outfits or love of media attention – though those similarities cannot be denied. They redefine themselves to suit their current cause. E.g. Al Qaeda exploits every opportunity to appear to take on the cause of the underdog Arab, redefining itself as the liberators of oppression. The current Israel/ Hezbollah offensive will be a cause for them. Do you disagree?
Purple is underrated. But what in the world does “purple rain” mean?

I am glad you wore red on Tuesday!! So good to be free!! I need to be free of some weight LOL... I barely fit into a dress this week, so depressing, put on weight since Jan... have to get it off... ARGH!!!

Oh - what a relief, now I cna wear any colour any day - I still do not know why I subjected myself to such bloody rubbish no-red Tuesday! ;-)

HAHAHA!!! I am laughing at your comment about Fernando and his compliment!!! It is rare to hear a compliment from him, so before he changes his mind, take it and say you won't give it back ;-)
Candancimmmmm! No red in your closet? Oh!;-) I think you were practising the same superstition as me without even knowing it ;-) Kucak kucak!
But now there is no superstition - so i suggest perhaps a red scarf, because after all it is a primary colour. Oh in that case, if you have brown or pink, that contains red. Oh my goodness, so when i wore brown or pink on tuesday, i was actually wearing red. Oh - my brain cannot take it anymore! :-)

ha ha ha!;-) Cris you are right! I still see what looks like a compliment from Fernando, so i best take it and make it official by saying, "muchas gracias Fernando!" I think I will have to wear red more often

Nazli - my Sunday was sooo hot!!! It is horribly hot here and is going to get worse, was looking for a breeze :-)
Went out to brunch with a friend who makes me laugh... He told me today that I am very serious... I wonder...
Did too little studying, but the weather is not right for that, so I won't be too hard on myself and my dear professor told me that I will be fine, so I decided to extend that to the other classes too LOL!!!
I will definitely come over and relax whenever I can :-)
Cris - oh my goodness - it is so hottt!. But I just heard on the news, that it will be even hotter. CNN said that the hot weather is coming to the East Coast - and I thought, "what do you mean it is coming? It;s here!"

One exam done, 3 more to go this week and one next Monday... the toughest ones are Thursday and Friday, that is why I am still so relaxed!!
