Bush Blair Summit 2003

President George W. Bush made clear to British Prime Minister Tony Blair in January 2003 that he was determined to invade Iraq without a UN resolution and even if UN arms inspectors failed to find weapons of mass destruction in the country, The New York Times reported.

Oh my word! No, surely not! I don't believe it. No - not in a democracy! President Bush would not lie and mislead the American people by capitalizing on their emotional connection to 9/11. No he would not! And PM Blair would not be so spinelessly enamoured at the expense of British soliders! No he would not! Not in a democracy! Not at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives! No! Saddam would do that, because he is a dictator - but not the democratic representives of Bush-Blair!
